Official Artist of the International Boxing Hall of Fame

Richard T. Slone was named the Official Artist of the Boxing Hall of Fame in 1997 and has remained so ever since.

Slone is responsible for creating artwork of the boxing legends inducted in the Hall. His work graces the cover of the annual program book and various other products. Slone has also exhibited numerous times on the grounds of the Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota, New York. When I was asked to do my first painting for them in the mid 90’s, I never imagined I’d be commissioned to do it every year afterwards.
