Slone Gets Nomination
Richard T. Slone has been nominated for the 2009 Sports Artist of the Year award by the American Sports Art Museum and Archives, a division of the United States Sports Academy.
The award is presented annually to an individual who captures the spirit and life of sport so that future generations can relive the drama of today's competition.The award is considered the highest honor bestowed upon any artist for a body of work in the sports genre.
Autographed Limited Edition
UFC Superstar Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva has been immortalized by Slone in the recently released limited edition art print. The edition of only 500 is personally signed by Silva and Slone.
