The original painting was commissioned by the International Boxing Hall of Fame, in Canastota, NY. This watercolor was featured on the cover of the official program booklet. Slone was named the Official artist of the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1997, and has since painted every years inductees since. Pictured on this historical painting are Carlos 'Bobo' Olsen (top left), Promoter Tito Lectoure (top right), Joltin' Jeff Chandler (bottom left) and former world champion Ken Buchanan (bottom right).
