The original drawing was commissioned by the International Boxing Hall of Fame, in Canastota, NY. This watercolor was featured on the cover of the official program booklet. Slone was named the Official artist of the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 1997, and has since painted every years inductees since. Pictured on this historical painting are Khaosi Galaxy (top left), Promoter/Manager Mickey Duff (pictured top center) Promoter Bob Arum (top right), Eusebio Pedroza (bottom left), publicist Irving Rudd and former world champion Jimmy Bivins (bottom right).
